The Proview Market Wizard

This Wizard will quickly identify which trading technique, would have been the most profitable over the previous history of the chart shown.
But always remember "past returns are not necessarily a guide to future returns" or in other words the best indicator for this year, may be different to the best indicator last year.
Neverthless the "Market Wizard" will help you become familiar with technical analysis tools, and the kind of maximum returns they can produce.
The Wizard will select the best indicator (over the recent history), identify the trading signals, and show you the percentage return from following this indicator.
Using the wizard is easy, there are no parameters to enter or calculations to do, just follow these 3 steps :-

1. Go to the chart you want to test and click on the Proview Market Wizard Icon.
2. Wait while the Wizard finds you the best technique. The Wizard will check analysis techniques including RSI, Moving Average, DMI, MACD, Parabolic Stop, Welles Wilder, Oscillator, Volatility Channel ..., for all periods between 5 and 50 ticks.
3. Once the Wizard is finished he will describe the results and display the profit line, including entry and exit points. The Profit line shows the growth or decline in your trading capital, had you traded according to the model. In the example shown, the wizard has determined that a Parabolic Stop technique provides the best profit.
You may further explore profitabiliy over your entire database or a range of charts by using the Proview Query module.
Other forecasting techniques available include linear regression, which identifies the real trend in a market.
